Richardson Cardy of Lisburn was Established by Mr David Richardson & Mr Andy Cardy back in 1972.
Since then, as the business has grown, there have been trials along the way -
One of which was the 'Great Fire of 86'
You'll notice the short advert that Andy & Davy issued in the Local 'Ulster Star' newspaper on the week after the fire as the wished to thank all of the services involved and all of the customers affected.
These are photographs of the premises as they were in 1994.
After 44 years, we said a fond 'farewell' to these showrooms in Railway Street, Lisburn as we have now very successfully relocated to our new premises in Young Street, Lisburn.
Back in the 1980's, Richardson Cardy sponsered the local 10km Road Race.
This was attended by many thousands of runners and spectators on a warm Wednesday evening each year.
The Road Race winner would have won a Belling Microwave, which was a 'state-of-the-art' appliance back then.
These Black & White photographs of our showroom displays from back in the late 1970's.
Some of these designs are now back in fasion
The Oak kitchen (shown in colour) was taken of our newest showroom display in the early 1990's. This display sported the newest 'Pigeon Blue' appliances on offer from the European manufacturer 'Atag'.
